The Role

The one thing above all we expect from our Consultants is an appetite to do things better! Although we have a world-class set of services, they only stay that way if we keep improving them….

In this role, you will report to the head of App Store Optimization, although you will work alongside each of our 3 principal Consultancy areas (User Acquisition, App Store Optimization and Mobile Messaging Strategy). You will be asked to work on a number of varied projects, and as you start to grow into your role, also manage a number of your own clients, and build your own client portfolio.

The work will be varied, and flexibility is key – although each of the 3 principal areas may sound disconnected, they are in-fact incredibly intertwined, so you’ll commonly find that a solution you’ve deployed in one function can be applied to help a client in another! On a typical  day you may be examining the data segmentation for push notification campaigns, helping to redesign an app store listing or reviewing the performance of a Facebook ad campaign.

Experience Required

Although training is provided on the job (after all our designed services are unique to us!), we do expect 1-2 years’ experience in the mobile app space, where you will have worked on user acquisition, app marketing, CRM / messaging strategies, data analytics, or App Store Optimization. Graduates will be considered, but you must be exceptional, with at least some modules covering the areas outlined above. Deep technical experience is a plus (interestingly quite a few of our team can code), but it’s definitely not a prerequisite. Also, if you’re a dab-hand with Photoshop that will work in your favour too, but not essential 😊

Finally, as a large part of our work is based on data  – you absolutely have to have an analytical mind, and experience using data analytics and visualization solutions is a massive plus.


The CMA offices are based in central London (Moorgate), but given the nature of this role, a large degree of remote working, and working at client-sites primarily around London can be expected. With that in mind, this certainly isn’t your standard desk job!
